For this issue���s Top Story, The TwoWay Street, Jamie talked with ���shermen, processors, importers and lawyers regarding the countervailing duty petition ���led by the U.S. shrimp industry in late December. It���s an emotional issue on both sides. ���I heard compelling arguments from both sides regarding the effectiveness and pitfalls of trade barriers,��� he says. ���Judging by the last attempt to stymie shrimp imports, this latest effort seems to be a bit of a reach, but it may work on some levels.
