As this issue went to press, folks in the Northeast were still digging out from the disaster wrought by Superstorm Sandy. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy — the list is miles long and the rebuilding will be years in the making. Food and clothing donations are sorely needed; I've included a list of some assistance organizations on my Editor's Note on page 4. Please do what you can to help the Sandy relief effort.
